Last chance to book the remaining seats on the coach trip to Westfield Shopping Centre in West London. It's the largest shopping mall in Europe and well worth a visit. Monday July 26th - cost £12. The following trip is to Alresford on Monday 26th September. Here you can look around and buy lunch before boarding the steam train on the Watercress Line to Alton. The price of this trip is £22 and includes a cream tea on the train. Bookings will be taken from 9am on 7th July with payment due in full at time of booking please.
H.I. Businessmens Club invite you to their annual barbecue on Saturday 31st July at Northney Farm, where there will be a live band, spit roast, disco, games and stalls and a bistro style licensed bar. A fantastic night out and great value for money. Tickets are on sale now priced £16 from Hayden Garage, Mengham News, Belmont Hairdressers or Morris Dibben.
The next Disco-Bounce will be on Friday 23rd July, and tickets will go on sale 2 weeks beforehand priced £2.50. Places are limited and organisers would like everyone to purchase tickets beforehand to avoid children being dropped off only to find out they cant get in due to high numbers attending.
The Baptist Church children's holiday club will be running during the last week of July, and is open to children aged 5-11 years. The theme of the week is “Rocky's Plaice” and the club will be open for fun and activities from 9.15-12noon daily. Please call John Funnell to book a place on 02392 466087. Cost £2 per child per day.
We look forward to the stewards coffee morning, to be held on Wednesday 7th July, where we will get together over a cuppa and delicious home made cakes. We are still short of weekend volunteers so if you have an hour or two to spare, once or twice a month and would like to join our friendly team, please call Tina on 02392 467567.

BOOKINGS
The Centre can be booked for your function – wedding reception business conference, dance, lecture, stage presentation etc. Also commercial bookings are now being taken for events such as antiques fairs, book sales, tabletop sales etc. Fees are reasonable and the kitchen, heating and audio/visual facilities are also available. Remember too that the complex also includes two smaller function rooms, each with refreshment providing facilities for club and committee meetings, children’s parties etc. that can be booked independently of the main hall.
